Meet Larry Chatterly #VillageWellRide
Meet Larry Chatterley
Did you know that 59% of South Sudan’s population doesn’t have access to clean water? Our new Well Project Ride is working to change that.
Larry Chatterley is a cyclist and philanthropist from Denver, Colorado. After learning about GEMS from a family member, he decided to raise money to build village wells in South Sudan by riding the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route this summer. The route consists of 2,696 miles over Canada, the US and Mexico, and has 200,000 feet of elevation gain and loss. Larry is donating his time and completely self-funding this endeavor, so all the money donated to his trip will be used to bring water to the people of South Sudan.
